Class Poem We the seniors of 62 Have reached our twelve-year goal We ' re headed for fame and fortune. And now I ' ll read the roll: First in line is Paul Butcher A comical sort of a guy That curly head of hair Seems to make the girls all sigh ! Next is Alan Campbell A guy who ' s really neat He gives all the girls a whirl He ' s someone you ' d like to meet! That guy with the red convertible Mister Roger Kraner, by name Is always nice and friendly Let ' s hope he remains the same! There ' s a guy who came from Noble And quite a guy he is Marvin Loy is our ladies man He leaves all the girls in a tiz! Danny Montgomery and Jim Fraze Are next upon the scene They ' re really in there fightin ' For our mighty basketball team! ' Here ' s a gal who ' s really swell And no one is the same ■ She has a sweet disposition Phyllis Shultz is her name! Next we have Miss Sipe We give her our best wishes Linda is a real sweet girl May she always stay ambitious! Who is that who ' s walking by ■ With a twinkle in her eye? ' Why, Bonnie Snow is the lass A real nice girl in our class! Wayne Chrisman, now there ' s someone Here we have the Moore boys And then there ' s Patti Stults Who makes his Mercury fly It ' s good there ' s not more than two Our midget in the crowd Everyone sits up and looks If there w ere any more of Curt and Boh But when the boys are near, You hear her When he goes roddin ' by I I just don ' t know what we would do! Yellin - good and loud! Judy Timmons and Penny Dennis Have their futures already planned Tommy and Jim had better run They ' re the ones the girls will land! The one I ' m thinking of next Is rather quiet, but smart I ' m sure you ' ve guessed by now It ' s none other than Dave Gierhart! Who is roddin ' in the loud white Ford With the red, red hair on top? It ' s none other than Jerry Guntle He ' d make a fire engine stop! A real nice girl in our class We all know her by Jo It ' s Joann Iliff, who else She ' s always in the know! Next Betty Muhlenkamp comes along A rather neat blonde lass She always has her assignments done In good old Latin Class! Next in line is Mr. Twigg Ronnie ' s a real swell guy Anybody remember Ole Faithful ' That car could really fly ! And now we have Pat Murphy Dave Weil comes up next A cheerleader, I ' m sure you ' ve seen Our drum major in the band She ' s got plenty of pep for it He ' s tall, dark, and handsome And she spends much time with Gene ' The best in the land! Next in line is Lynn Orr She really gives a scream When she ' s on the floor yelling For our good ol ' Bryant team! Who comes next but Joe Schmit He ' s a good guy all around When Sam starts acting up You ' d think he was a clown! If you see something glowing red It will be Bob Wendel ' s ears They turn red when something happens Or so - it appears! I sure would like to remain unknown But I guess that wouldn ' t be right So instead of giving it all away My initials are all I ' ll write: - 16
