Class Histor On September 12, 1949, we entered High School as Freshmen. Our class consisted of Z7 members, four new students joining us. Three from Trinity, Ruth Wagner, Victor Post, and Paul Minnichg also one from Poling High School, Janice Garlinger. Jeanette Armantrout, our representative in the Queen Contest, came in second. We chose as our class officers: President Victor Post, Vice-Pres- ident Mary Lou Orr, Sec. and Treas. Ruth Wagner, Student Council Neil Logan, Sponsor Mrs. Gladys Ketchum. Coming back this fall we found ourselves just a little bit wiser, but with only 26 members. Jeanne Bye failed to return. During the year Janice Crarlinger left us. Our class chose Janet Hoskins as our Queen who came in first. Our class officers were: President Judithan Axe, Vice-President Bob Cvuntle, Sec. and Treas. Jeanette Armantrout, Sponsor Mrs. Elsie Zuercher. As school opened this fall we found ourselves in the upper half of the High School with 26 members. We found that Janice Garlinger had returned to our class again. As our representative for the Queen Contest, we chose Mary Lou Orr, who came in fourth. This year we chose as our class officers: President Dick Houser, Vice-President Norma Garlinger, Sec. and Treas. Mar Lou Orr, Student Council Jeanette Armantrout, Sponsor Mr. Louis H211. On April 18, our class presented athree-act comedy, A Credit To The Family. Miss Blythe Terwilliger was our director. Coming back September 4, 1952, we finally found ourselves seated by the windows. During the sumrner Bob Guntle and Ted Simons left to join the Navy. We also lost Bob Smithee who moved to Kokomo. As our class convened we found two new faces among us, Lester Hierholzer from St. Henry and Dick Renbarger who had returned from the Marines. Bob Guntle, getting an honorable discharge from the Navy, came back to graduate with us. As our Senior Queen we chose Judithan Axe who came in first. Other class officers were: President Dick Houser, Vice-President Vernon Haley, Sec. and Treas. Paul Minnich, Student Council Victor Post, Sponsor Mr. Wayne Haffner. On November 12, we presented Rest Assured under the direction of Mr. Earl Cheek. Ah! At last! Graduation Day. Although we are sad from the thought of parting, we are gladdened by the fact that in a few days we will be bound for New York and Washington. Sponsored by Coca Cola Bottling Co. , Portland, Indiana
