Hits and Runs With superb playing by all the boys on the squad the Bryant Owls finished one of their most successful baseball seasons with a record of five wins and one game lost. The team started the season with an easy victory over their old rival, Gray, by a score of 14 to 6. Defending our home diamond against Poling we scored an overwhelming victory of 22 to 5. Still feeling the bitter effects of last years defeat handed us by Berne, we won a hard fought game to a score of 14 to 12. On October 11 we were handed our first defeat by a magnificent Berne team, 5 to 3. Winding up the season Bryant defeated Gray 19 to 4.
