LASS WILL Notice is hereby given to everyone concerned that we, the Seniors, do declare on this day of April 20, 1944, being of sound mind and body i??J, and make this following will which is to be executed during the next year. We, the Seniors, will to the Juniors our red flannels in hopes that they will not freeze while occupying our seats by the windows. We, the Seniors, will 'to the Sophomores our noted ability to be absent from classes and to prepare our lessons only when we are ready, in hopes that they will be even more successful than we have been. We. the Seniors, pass on to our lower classmen, the Freshmen, our un- dying patience with the teachers so that they, too, may receive A's in their conduct. To the Junior high classes we, the Seniors, will our ability to climb the ladder of success with accuracy and speed. I, Barbara Bailey, will my slim figure and graceful ways to Virginia Craig. I, Kathryn Bailey, will my ability to flirt to Lois Poling. I, Norman Crowell, will my ability to go steady to Margaret Bailey. I, Rose Harpring, will my good behavior in the study hall to Keith Stein. , I, Rheneta Houser, will my alto voice to anyone who would like to use it. I, Lavaun Keller, will my short height to Fred Haffner. I, Carl King, will my loving attitude to all girls to Richard Shawver. I, Letha Bell Knoelke will my typing ability to anyone who needs it. I, Betty Kraner, will my dark hair to Joann Mumby. I, Grayce Myers, will my yodeling ability to Eugene Roser. I, Anna Mae Orr, will my interes't in a certain Sophomore boy to Norma Jean Keller in hopes that they may get along as famously as we have. I, Ruth Roll, will my mischievious Ways to Wanda Pyle. I, Mary Helen Somers, will my witty attitude to Robert Davidson. I, Genevieve Spade, will my position as trustee's daughter to some more unfortunate being. I, Martha Jean Stroube, will my ability to concentrate on the only boy to Velma Rittenhouse. We, the Seniors, will to the teachers all the books we used this year in hopes they will not forget us. HUMOR Layaun: Will your folks be surprised when you graduate? Norman: No, they've been expecting it for several years. Leroy: Christ, if you had your choice of a collision or an explosion, which would you take? Christ: A collision of course. Leroy: How Come? Christ: Well, in a collision there you is, and in an explosion, where is you? Bill: You raised your hat to that girl, do you know her? Keith: No, but my brother does and this is his hat. Ruth: Why is Mr. Deaton yawning in the middle of his speech? Mary: He must be listening to it. Rheneta: What wartime occupation are you pursuing? Martha: Well, right now i't's a Seaman lst class. Katie: I'm going to kiss you everytime a star falls. ften minutes later J. Doggie: Hey you must be counting lightning bugs. Bert M: Dearest, I love you and want you for my wife. Leatha Belle: Heavens, I didn't know you had a wife. Rose: I told Jim he was a brute and returned all his beastly presents. Betty: And what did the wretch do? Rose: He sent me a dozen tubes of lipstick in return for what he took home on his handkerchief. Mrs. Burk: Don't you hate crowds? Mrs. Ketchum: Do I? At the last ball game I fainted and had to walk three miles before I could fall down. A Little Blonde: I want you to drive careful, first thing you know you'll have us in the ditch. Mr. Haffner: Me? Say I thought you were driving. Norman: Wonder why Carl talks to himself so much. Ruth: Says he likes to talk to a smart man and likes to hear a smart man talk.

Ways Not To Be Forgotten Carve your name on the seats so that your memory may live on after you graduate. Get mad and slam the doors. Leave the doors open because it helps to warm the room. Clap after speeches given by the professors Get up and stomp around the room. Other people probably are not study- ing anyhow, and they need to know what you are doing. If you think of anything to say, tell your neighbor because that is how ideas get around. Throw as much paper on the floor as possible so that the janitor will have something to do. Keep the shades drawn and use the lights. It's cheaper and far warmer. Throw chalk and erasers because MAYBE the person on the other side of the room wants to play catch. Be sure to throw them when the teacher leaves the room. Be sure to sail paper airplanes through the air and keep 'em flying! Chewing gum is scarce so put it on the seats so that somebody else can en- joy it. Skip school whenever you feel like it. The teachers need a vacation from the students anyhow. Make all the noise you can because other classes in adjoining rooms appre- ciate it. When you get a drink of water, leave the fountain run because the other students think it sounds like a waterfall. Argue with the underclassmen about your superiority and prove to them that therefore you are always right and they are wrong. Click your heels when walking around. Write names on the boards to give it an artistic touch. Sharpen your pencil as often as six times a period because it might get dull.
