They sponsored a schoolwide Tour de France, in correlation with the annual bicycle race in France in the fall. The club members dressed in French costumes and brought French food for French Day in the spring. They ended the year's activities with a club picnic.

The Spanish Club again held the annual Spanish Fiesta in 1970. At the Fiesta, which was complete with pinata and Spanish decorations, the club members ate authentic Spanish cuisine. However, they decided to stick with American food at their end of the year picnic. The club also donated money to purchase materials for the Spanish de- partment. Pam Stratton ......... Latin C lub The Bryan Station Latin Club well represented their school in the state Latin convention this year. Their project received 21 superior in the state com- petition and several Bryan Station students won trophies in the ttolympics. The club also spon- sored students who took the National Latin Exam.
