The Spanish Club again held the annual Spanish Fiesta in 1970. At the Fiesta, which was complete with pinata and Spanish decorations, the club members ate authentic Spanish cuisine. However, they decided to stick with American food at their end of the year picnic. The club also donated money to purchase materials for the Spanish de- partment. Pam Stratton ......... They sponsored a schoolwide Tour de France, in correlation with the annual bicycle race in France in the fall. The club members dressed in French costumes and brought French food for French Day in the spring. They ended the year's activities with a club picnic.
