Mighty as ever the Bryan Station baseball team was back with a 15-8 record this year. Hopes ran high and expectations great as the team went into Spring training. A trip to Clearwater, Florida proved to be a high- light of the season. Team members collected bottles to finance the trip sanctioned by the Kentucky and Florida High School Athletic Boards. While in Florida, they played and beat St. Petersburg and Tarpin Springs High Schools. However, the first de- feat of the season was administered by Ciearwater. Back in Kentucky the team was to face some sweet victories and some very bitter disappointments. They ended the season by being named co-cham- pions of the Mid-State Conference Title.
