Davis. Wrestling, often termed as the most grueling of all sports , brought additional athletic honors to Bryan Station in 1968. In the State Tourna- ment, Coach Pickett's wrestlers placed 14th out of 38 teams, and Mike Eversole became runner-up in the 180-pound division.

But to the girls on the 1968 Track Team, it was worth it. The girls, coached by Mrs. Compton, and Mrs. Deaton captured first place in the Fayette County Invitational Track meet and second place in the regional meet. 7i
