National Honor Society National Honor Socnety members have not only been required to maintain a 3.5 stand- ing during their junior and senior years at Bryan Station but also to serve the school in some manner. In 1968, the club sponsored 3 Leaf Man contest at the Fall Festival. They also sponsored a coat-check at home basketball games and conducted an induc- tion assembly. At the end of the year, both new and old members attended a banquet at the Blue Boar Cafeteria and a scholarship was awarded to Cheri James for her service tothe club. FRONT ROW tl to 0: M. The scholastic qualifications for Beta Club have always been a 3.5 standing for one nine weeks and an overall standing of 3.2 for 3 years of high school. Yet, other characteristics such as Character and service also have been required of Beta members. Not only did the club members participate in the Fall Festival but also aided the teachers on records day, helped monthly PTA bulletins for mailing, and sponsored the annual induction tea. 180 Thomas, P. B-Club Helps to Boost School Spirit B-Club is an honorary for all athletes who have lettered in a sport while attending Bryan Station. Even though the club is an honorary, the members did perform some service activi- ties such as selling refreshments at basket- ball games and helping to boost school spirit at pep rallies.
