H. S. Office Moves junior High Has New Principal Mr. Newell spent his third year as principal at Bryan High School planning and arranging for the move from the old building to the new school. By this rearrangement, the pupils under his supervision were reduced to the upper four grades only, comprising about 580 students. Mr. Newell en- thusiastically supported and attended all of our extra-curricular activities and in addition gave us counseling on personal and vocational problems. He acted as advisor to the Student Council and served as president of the Northwestern Ohio Athletic Association. A graduate of Kalamazoo College, Mr. Newell earned his Master's degree at the University of Michigan. Besides his enjoyment of sports, a special interest of his is collecting old books. HAROLD A. MEESE B.S., M.A. Mr. Meese, previously elementary supervisor, inherited the quarters va- cated by the high school and acquired the additional title of Junior High Prin- cipal, having charge of the upper ele- mentary and Junior High pupils in the old high school building. JOSEPH S. NEWELL B.A.,M.A. Mrs. Diane Kuhn, Mr. Newell's secretary, was first to occupy the attrac- tive ofiice in our new building. She was a member of Bryan's class of 1955. DIANE KUHN
