X MR. HOWARD W. ROGGE Mr. Rogge is the Superintendent of the Bryan City Schools. He came to Bryan as principal of the junior Senior High School eight years ago. In 1946 he was elected as Superintendent of Schools. He completed his undergraduate work at Bowling Green University and Ohio Northern University and received his Masters Degree in School Admin istration from the Ohio State University The Bryan City Schools have continued to move forward under his leadership and supervision A extensive building program is now moving forward under his planning and supervision This mcludcs the modernization of Lincoln School and a new addition consisting of kindergarten classrooms serv ice rooms a cafeteria and an all purpose room Plans for the new fourteen room west end elementary building are now completed Mr Rogge is studying plans for a new gymnasium on the Park School site Our superintendent is an active participant in local district state and national educational confer ences and meetings He is a member of the State of Ohio Association of School Administrators alonL with several committees in some of the Bryan or ganizations and clubs His favorite hobbies are hunting fishing color photography travel and working with people MR CLYDE W JONES Mr jones has been Principal of Bryan High School for the past hve years Prior to coming to Bryan he was teacher coach and administrator in various schools of Ohio Dur ing World War ll he served thirty eight months in the U S Navy being placed on an inactive duty status in 1945 Since coming to Bryan he has been active in numerous civic affairs He has served on several committees in the Ohio High School Principals Association and has been elected president and sec rerary of the Northwest Ohio Athletic League He took his under graduate work at Ohio Uni versity and Wilmington obtaining a Bachelors De cree from the latter in 1932 He received his Mas ters Degree from Ohio State University His hobbies are golfing., tishing and refinishing antiques He is adviser to the National Honor Society Stu dcnt Council and the Senior Class He has initiated .1 comprehensive guidance program
