td Mr Rogge Superintendent Mr H W Rogge Superintendent of Bryan City Schools came to Bryan seven years ago At that time he was appointed principal of Bryan Junior Senior High In I946 he was elected superintendent Previous to this he held the position as principal of Swanton High School for twelve years He also taught science for one year at Swanton He began his teaching career in a rural school with an enrollment of 5l pupils He is a graduate in School Administration of Ohio State University and a former student at Bowling Green University and Ohio Northern University Since his arrival here he has accomplished many things such as supervising the study of Bryan s educa tional and building needs and helping to pass a school bond issue for an addition to Lincoln building a new elementary building and a new physical education plant and gymnasium He has again added on art program brought in a full time elementary supervisor set up two veterans agriculture classes rebuilt the football field set up a continuous program of building maintenance and improvement and has expanded and improved the total educational program. He will be responsible for the supervising of the building contracts which are now under way. His hobbies are hunting fishing movie and colored slide photography golfing and just being with people. He has also been active in the Ohio High School Principals Association the Northwestern Ohio Superintendents As- sociation Ohio Education Association State Department of Education Transportation Committee Williams County Society for Crippled Children and the Ohio Association of School Administrators. Mr. Rogge has supervised the study of Bryan s need. and has engineered the plans for an extensive building program during the next three years. 3.74 C Principal Mr Jones Mr C W Jones Principal of the Bryan Junior Senior High once enloyed a career in the United States Navy During his 38 months in the services 27 of which were overseas he rose to the position ot Senior Lieutenant He received his bachelors degree from Wilmington College and his master s degree from Ohio State. He also attended Ohio University. He has held administrative positions in other schools. At Rockbridge Ohio he was superintendent. His hobbies are golfing and fishing. He serves as ad- viser of National Honor Society Student Council and the Senior Class. He is also administrator of the scholar- ship tests and teaches a civics class.
