andy Glad Coach john Funderburg AHYAA1 SPORTS MENTOR john Funderburg, the man whom we all know for his sports ability and leadership, will be leaving us this summer. But let us not look forward to this, but rather look back to the things he has done for us. He was the adviser of the Varsity Club, an organization to promote better sportsman ship: with his help they were able to achieve this goal. His ability for coaching will never be overlooked, for he coached the greatest basketball team that has ever come out of Bryan. Many hours has he spent setting Bryan on a higher inter-scholastic sports level, asking for little in re-turn. He has done a great job of making us sport-conscious students. He will not be forgotten in the years to come, and we wish him the best of luck in whatever he does.
