At times the team played with a lot of gumption, but at times they didn ' t come to play . The highlight of the season was the hard fought victory at home against King College. The team was hurt by the loss of Schanley at mid-season and injuries throughout the year to team captains, Pittard and Anglea. Pittard, a transfer, lead the team in points scored and field goal percentage. Pittard averaged 21 points per game and ranked consistently high in the top scorers of the NAIA District 24. Other key contributers included Stewart, Tonga, DeKlerk, Waterworth, Lee and Solomonic, also a transfer. f ' I jT; ' uiffllMr v 4%t 78 Cross Country Cross Country The team this year was short on depth and experience. We would also like to congratulate her on her recent marriage to Mr. Lowell Hoyt. We hope the future holds many years of happiness for the both of them. Because of this we dedicate this 1983-84 yearbook to her. 9 Dedication 151 will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
