CURRENS WHO HAS BECOME DEAR TO OUR HEARTS AS A GOOD STEWARD OF THE MANIFOLD GRACE OF GOD — WHOSE FELLOWSHIP AND GODLY INFLUENCE HAVE BEEN DEEPLY FELT IN OUR LIVES — WE, IN SIN- CERE JOY AND APPRECIATION, DEDICATE THIS VOLUME. Cta±± of ' 36 iGi nn ( ttmmotx v fff w . jozztvozd To record a few glimpses of our work and play, of our fellowship in Christ, and of God ' s gracious provision for our needs and those of our school during the year has been our aim and desire in this little book. We have sought to uphold the sacred ideals of Chris- tianity for which William Jennings Bryan, the Great Commoner, lived and died — ideals which will endure the test of time and con- tinue to live in the hearts of God-fearing men and women. yt cyy-dminUtxution -£t jGi im (£ mmot v Wiiiimn jfeumnns Srijaii Mmucrattjj Say tort, Tennessee June 10, 1936 Seniors and friends: As we have worked here together in this testimony to the supreme glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and to the Divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible , we have committed a like task to you for the larger world you are now entering. Urge all men to accept the Father ' s purpose to have Christ preeminent in all things, and to ordain their lives in accordance with the Divine program for the ages as revealed in His Holy Word. Emphasize that the fullness of Eternal Life, as imparted by the Father through the Son, and the instrumentality of the Holy Spirit and the written Word, is the final and only true measure of fitness in God ' s sight. Without underestimating the worth of facts, we must warn that there is real peril in a surplus of facts without wisdom that is of God and that honors God. Life often becomes a curse instead of a blessing. My prayer is that you will seek and follow God ' s plan for your life and realize the wonderful results of walking and working with Him. May a faith like that of Mr. Bryan support you in the trials that are sure to oome. Cordially your friend in Christ, Colossians I, (Z l CvSL . The 1336 JtEL (Commoner Judson A.
