More Than Just Food The lunchroom contains a variety of sights and sounds. Two highlights of the cafeteria are the mural and the jukebox. The mural, which depicts the dif- ferent activities at Bryan Adams, adds color to the cafeteria. Rock- n-roll or country and western music blares from the jukebox as students enjoy relaxing and talk- ing with friends. However, for some, lunch must be used as a time to catch up on homework or to study for a test. At the beginning of each lunch, students rush madly to be the first in line for such favorites as pizza or fish. Lunch ladies work hard to prepare these foods, and janitors work hard to clean the cafeteria for the next day. 1. Debbie Smith grimaces as Mrs. Menzdorf rings the bell for the devotional. 2. Seth Benson enjoys his lunch. 3. Aida Ramirez takes an active part in working in the Bookstore. 4. Students always like a good lunch. 5. Marie Park learns that Coca-Cola is the real thing, even when it is all syrup. 6. Shannon Mclver washes down her food. 7. Mrs. Menzdorf makes change for a student. 8. Darlene Sherwood and Julie Park discuss their classes. B . WM ,A , K , x 1 s argl sa my 51- 'L A 2 3 LUNCHROOM LUNCHFICJOIVI LUNCHFICJOIVI

,huh I Assemblies Highlight Week As each hectic school week rolled on, something happened that caused us to remember that the week was almost over and an exciting football game would soon take place. This spirited reminder was a pep assembly. After proper respect was given to the flag presented by the Color Guard, the cheerleaders led the assembly in victory cheers with the help of the Spir- its, C.C.'s, and l-l.R.'s. The per- formances of the majorettes and the drill team to the lively music ofthe band plus various pep talks highlighted the assembly which was wrapped up with the traditional singing of the Alma Mater. After assemblies like these, the football stadium was packed every week. 1 , The Varsity football team receives recognition, 2. Mr. David Forgey leads the crowd in an archaic cheer. 3. Todd Flechtner and the H,Fi.'s prove to the assembly that they really are different. 4. Jackie Johnson, Pam Bellah, and Scott Hamontree unite to sing the Alma Mater. 5. Roderick Ftayson and the Ft.O.T.C, Color Guard present the flag, 6, Drum Major Ann Pipes commands the Cougar Band. ASSEMBLIES ASSEMBLIES ASSEMBLIES
