New Faces, New Friends The first day of school begins with a tense excitement. Stu- dents walt anxiously to see who their teachers are and who is in their classes. ln homeroom, cen- sus cards and enrollment cards are filled out, lockers are assigned and schedules are passed out. Counselors are set up in the auditorium to deal with students who are complaining about such things as four English classes and no lunch. When homeroom finally comes to an end, many new stu- dents are found searching for room numbers which do not seem to exist. Once classrooms are found, teachers and students alike undertake the task of learn- ing which names go to which faces. 1. Cristy Reynolds and Leigh Anne Prine discuss the events ol the day. 2. Karen Gildea and Kelli Nettle accompany Paula Parvin, who shows her opinion of school. 3. Mark Fagg and Julie Christian are glad the school day is over. 4. Larry Gracey meets the fate of a pink slip. 5.
