Frosh Get First Look On August 24th hundreds of eager but anxious freshmen passed through the doors and into the halls of Bryan Adams for the first time. The new students were ushered into the auditorium where they received welcomes from lvlr. D. D. Richardson, Stu- dent Council President: John Wardell, Spirits President: Lacy Atwood, and the ever-spirited varsity and junior varsity cheer- leaders of Bryan Adams. The Bryan Adams Cougar Band and Belles entertained the newcomers with a special per- formance. The orientation closed after the students visited the school cafeteria where they were intro- duced to many of the clubs and organizations offered at Bryan Adams. 1. Lisa Brown, Mrs. Kathy Bowley and Beth Muse get a head start on planning the 78-79 yearbook. 2. Susan Fowler as a sophomore Co- Captain of the Spirits paints posters for upcoming games days before school starts. 3. Cheerleaders Scott l-lammontree, Jay Valdez, and Sandra Moore prepare for their summer competition at SMU Camp. 4. A confident freshman takes initial look at his new school. 5.
