Freshmen Are Welcorned on Orientation Day Orientation Day was held on August 26, 1977. Eager freshmen and new students made their way to the auditorium for a brief program. Mr. Richardson opened the program with words of welcome. The band, Belles, majorettes and cheerleaders were dressed in their uniforms as they proudly performed for the new students. Introductions were made of the student council representatives. Instructions were then given to the stu- dents to visit their homerooms. The assembly came to an endg and the halls were filled with lost fresh- men. Once in the homerooms, B.A. folders were given to everyone. The folder included such information as a list of the counselors, the school calendar, the bell schedule, and the athletic schedule. Students were then allowed to leave, and visit the lunchroom. Cookies and punch were served to everyone. Booths were set up as different clubs and organizations were represented. Earbf Birds Arrive Be ore First Period Are you one of the hundreds of Bryan Adams students who find it dif- ficult to arrive at school by the 8:25 bell? Now have pity for the 144 stu- dents who must be here at 7:20 for 00 classes. During football season band and Belle members must be at school between 7:00 and 7:30 for early morning practices. The morning before a pep assembly, Spirits and cheerleaders can be heard going over the cheers to be used in that days assembly. Others rush to do last minute homework or studying for a test in the library before the first period bell rings, on the other hand, a few Bryan Adams students arrive at school earlyjust to have a donut and coke with some friends.
