Senior Sponsor Awarded 1972 el C Dedication Dedication to a task that involved miles of red tape and devotion to a senior class of more than 1000 made Mrs. Ruth Roan a unique person. Almost hidden away in the corner room by 249.9 Mrs. Roan faced hundreds of confused schedules and attendance mistakes daily. Her contagious enthusiasm and radiant generosity made the IBM room a place where students, as well as big black crows, loved to gather. With the same dedication, Mrs. Roan worked with the officers of the senior class to make 1972 even more successful than the years before. The priceless relationships she formed with students who worked in the IBM room and other seniors were the kind that lasted a lifetime. From a senior class of 1100 emerged a few students whose names were synony- mous with the spirit of Bryan Adams. These were the individuals whose genuine in- terest in the school and natural desire to learn pushed them above and beyondii in all of their activites. Volunteering for extra class work and spending hours on the symposiums, musical productions, tournaments, and publications for which BA is famous, these students gave 10075 effort toward making the school live up to its standards of excellence. Their outstanding leadership, service, and concern won them respect from both the faculty and the student body. ln view of this unspoken respect, the el Conquistador proudly represents the en- tire school in recognizing these individuals.
