Variety Theatre Fills Auditorium With Excitement Variety Theatre '69 included an assortment ot subjects. The plays encompassed old love, new romances, and magical tairies. A Day in the Lite ot Charlie involved the trus- trations ot the tamous comic strip character Charlie Brown. Good Griet! was treguently heard as Charlie erroneously struggled through one day ot lite. l-lowever, all the personal contlicts concluded with a new triendship between Lucy and Charlie. A resounding smack represented a noisy kiss and a slapped cheelc in Plastic Lovers. The tour couples in the play experienced the problems and ioys ot romance. l-lumorously spitetul natures permeated William Shakespeare-'s classic, A Midsummer-Night's Dream. Magical donlceys and unrequited love provided a hilarious loaclcground tor the tinal play in the series. ABOVE: 'And Charlie Brown struck outl' P,lGr'll: Ethel Pratt and John Jackson carry on a decrepid romance as Sally Bell and Karen McDonald listen in.

.-Exdwm NFL Nloon Show Foster Talent ond Creativity Opening with vibrating music, the National Forensic League Talent Show came to Bryan Adams. Under the title ot the NFL Blast, this moon show tilled two student-packed assemblies. Mrs. Grayce Clay and Mrs. Janice Wieland produced and directed the show using the creative talent ot BA students. Exhibiting various musical talents, the pertormers included Tina English, Barbie Baines, Marla Caven- der, Cindy l-lall, Debbie McGee, and Sandy March- banlcs. Terry Vandivort impersonated Kaptain Krater with Pam Meelc as his assistant. Under a metallic disguise Per Seaholm portrayed the Par- tially Etticient Robot. Girls cast as Krater Kuties and Moon Maids added variety to the show with their dance routines. The combined ettorts ot the technical crew, choreography departments, and the cast produced an exceptional program tor the student body. -...ax Gordon Knight on drums was only a small part ot the NFL Talent Show. Terry Vanclrvort Kaptain Krater, and his assistant Pam Meek gave Earth viewers a moon show.
