Several thousand members of the Bryan Adams Parent-Teacher Association demonstrate their interest and desire to cooperate and help the school. The P.- T.A. works to provide auxiliary sewices to students by its various activities. These projects include the miniature school, which acquaints parents with the students' schedule and courses, and the college night. where representatives from colleges and universities inform students about their institutions. A five hun- dred dollar scholarship is awarded to each of two stu- dents. The school clinic receives money to buy supplies, and the senior class benefits from a 31000 donation to the senior activity fund. EBALA CED SCHOOL PROGRAM Beginning his day by calling substitute teachers and ending it with a three mile jog around the track, Dr. Robert B. Harris, principal, spends many hours at Bryan Adams. Dr. Harris has the responsibility for all areas of operation. His goal is for the school to attain excellence in every field and to emphasize a balance in academic and social objectives. As immediate past president ofthe Texas Associa- tion of Secondary School Principals, Dr. Harris is aware of the latest educational trends and frequently adapts these innovations to Bryan Adams. His energetic backing ofthe sports program, his administration ofthe academic program, and his in- terest in new educational ideas reflect Dr. Harris' ef- forts toward a balanced school program. .
