Stardust , the theme of the 1953 Junior Prom held May 2, was carried out by transforming the gym into an evening of enchantment. The twinkling stars danced lightly across the floor. The garden wall entrance was extended onto imitation grass. The garden effect was completed with a white picket fence, flowers, and lawn chairs. Wally Beau and his orchestra furnished the music as the spotlights followed King Bob Rosinsky and Queen Pat Retzlaff in leading the grand march. The court of honor included:Kenny Karnitz and Pat Alexander,Emery Vandenhouten and Diane Bournoville,Bob Tassoul and Jeanne Lampereur,Glenn Griep and Claudette Pierre, The following chairmen were picked to assist our advisor Mr. McQuoid for: decorating, Joyce Kaye; tickets, Marilyn Willems; refreshments, Angela Stauber; and advertising.
