We, The Class of 1958 of Brushton-Moira Central School, hereby dedicate this first volume of The Panther to Mr. John F. Byrnes, who has served as Superintendent of Schools here for the past twenty- two years. Through his many years of service, he has been a friend to students and grown-ups alike, willing at all times to smooth out difficulties which arose, and worked to provide greater educational opportunities. It gives us great pleasure to dedicate this first volume to you, Mr. Byrnes. 55 reclahon 4 . As we stand here waiting for the rest of the class to arrive at our first reunion, we wonder just what they will be like after so many years. One thing Of which we GSH be SUPe--- unless they've undergone some radical change in personality, most of them will be late. wait, there in the d1stance...... that cloud of dust ...... it can't be ... but it is .... 1t's Charles Young driving up in his new U10 H.P. NTorchfl1te Bu. He could not find a car on the market with enough power to suit him, so he engineered his own. Now it is the top selling car on the road. He is about to go inside when a motorcycle comes driving up. It is Gary Elmer. He has become a State Trooper. However, he is here socially and not in a professional capacity. If he had arrived five minutes earlier, he probably would be giving out a ticket right now. Ah there she comes... the Tuna A Noodle Queen... Betty Ritchie. She was married shortly after graduation. Unfortunately, the only thing she could cook was tuna and noodle casserole. She got so good at making it that she opened her own plant, and now anybody who is anybody eats it. Betty never did learn to cook anything else, but she made so much money in the business that she hires seven cooks.... much to the Joy of her husband. We learn that they have devoted their time to Uncle Sam. Here comes Joyce Snyder on a run. She too, a graduate from Brushton-Moira Central much to the de- light of the teachers, is now driving her boss mad. Ah 2 At last, Harold Hooker appears. As usual, he still 1sn't happy unless he is surrounded by women. As you have, no doubt guessed, he operates a modelling agency. Harold enjoys his work tremendously. As they go Ralph Woods is now living on Vodka Drive. He is getting pretty fed up now after having eleven children and the twelfth on the way. They always say ncheaper by the dozenn. We were sorry to hear that Roger Russell and Harry Fefee can't make the re- union. They are Co-owners of a Funeral Home and have been called upon to bury the President of the United States. Lee LePage has just managed to get through happy years of University study without even once succumbing to the urge to fourteen marry Linda. Looking toward the West, we see Larry Cox wandering toward us. In his way he is still fighting off the women. Here comes a Wfat ladyn. It can't our class. But lt ls. It is Eunice Debyah. She finally found a way to gain weight. Eunice is now famous for her uwATE-ONU tablet. Bob Gary and Doug Pelkey drive up in... like a truck I!! Now, I remember. Everyone but us, that is. Who are we? We are Shirley Montroy and Nancy Russell. What do we do? We are known through- out Europe by all Uncle Sam's men for our song and dance act. Between shows we are busy keeping house for our hubbies and our children. Well, our husbands are yelling for their supper, the children are crying, and our show is about to begin. So we say Good-by hoping you like our Class Prophecy. 27 P LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, The Graduating Class of 1958, being of unsound minds and short memories, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be our Last will and Testament before departing from the Brushton-Moira Central School.
