ROBERT A. BERNIER , Nothing succeeds like success. Remarks: Bob will do his best to achieve the success he is striving for. Activities: Pet Peeve: Too much homework. Future Plans: Work in a garage. RALPH H. BLACK, IR. If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way. Remarks: Ralph is one of B.H.S.'s best middle-distance men. He is as good an asset to any group as he is to the track team. Interests: Hunting, guns, lobstering, girls, sports, and boats. Activities: Ski Club 1, 2, 3, 4: Baseball 1, 25 Track 3, 4. Pet Peeve: Short girls. Future Plans: M.V.T.I. and wealth! TIM BENSEMA A football player, a regular guy, a friend to all and sort of shy. Remarks: Tim's a real character. He's not as shy as some may think. Watch for him in future years. Interests: Flying, sailing, and money. Activities: Transferred from two schools. Rogers High, Newport, R.I. and Culver Military Academy, Culver, Indiana. Activities for the past three years have been: Varsity Football 3, 4: Weight Lifting Team 2, 3, Wrestling 3, Camera Club 2, 35 Military Sciences 2, 3: Science Club 2, Chemistry Club 3. Pet Peeve: Blind dating. Future Plans: Enter U.S. Naval Academy. REYN OLD BERQUIST The silent type is the dangerous type. Remarks: Rennie is one of our shop boys, and we wish him the best of luck in his future career. Interests: Cars, model planes, skiing, and golf. Activities: Pet Peeve: Fast-talking teachers. Future Plans: Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard, or the Air Force. 12

NANCY LEE BARTLETI' She is a gal wlm's very neat: on top of that sl1e's very sweet. Remarks: Porky is one of our pretty and well dressed girls. She has a knack for making and keeping friends. Interests: Boys, dancing, the Harbor, Basketball games, parties and having fun in general. Activities: Tri-Hi-Y 2, 3, 4, Joint Vioe-President 4: Older Girls Conference 2, 3, 4g Class Assembly 1: Office Assistant 2: Band 2: Marching Band 2g jr. Red Cross 1. Pet Peeve: Homework. Future Plans: To be an Airline Hostess and have a happy successful life. GEORGIA A. BENJAMIN I could have danced all night. Remarks: George is a friend to everyone. If anyone wants to know the latest style or dance, Geo can help you. Interests: Dancing, cars, people. Activities: Tri-Hi-Y, Jr. Red Cross. Pet Peeve: When the car won't start. Future Plans: Nursing School. . MARY A. ARMSTRONG Sl1e's always quiet and ever so sweet. Remarks: Mary is one of the nicest girls in our class. She'll surely be successful at Illinois State. Interests: Dances, our Fiat, parties, bowling and just having fun in general. Activities: Jr. Red Cross 1, Biology Club 1. Pet Peeve: Future Plans: To attend Illinois State Normal School and have a happy life with Robert. FREDERICK BEAN Who so would be a man, must be a man-confor-mist. Remarks: Ricky is one of the more quiet members of our class. Interests: Hunting, playing guitars, swimming, playing football, girls. Activities: Football. Pet Peeve: Oversleeping Calwaysl.
