ROBERT B. WINSLOW A. B., Harvard University Ed. M., Boston University Commander, U.S. Naval Reserve Time brings changes in yearbooks as in everything else. The class of 1954 has done an outstanding and original piece of work in producing this thirty-fourth annual issue. This yearbook not only has a new title and new cover design, but con- tains many improvements. The school, and particularly the senior class, is grateful to the few upper classmen who have done all the work in making such a yearbook Dossible. Although, seniors, you may now feel that you have been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders and that you have been overworked, actually you will never have life so easy again. As your responsiibilifliies in life gradually increase, un- doubtedly you will reflect and realize what a comparatively sheltered and non-frus- trated life you once led back in those carefree high school days. This class of 1954 is one of the finest with which I have ever been associated. The good influence that it has exerned this year has done much to improve the morale of our school and make it a better one. I only regret that it will be the last graduating class at Brunswick High School with which I will be working. The world into which you are venturing is perhaps filled with more uncertainty than is usually faced by a graduating class. There is much to be done and many problems to be solved if the world is to live in peace. Let us hope that all of you will bear your full share of the load. I sincerely offer my best wishes and hope each of you has a very successful life.
