Our classrooms are crowded and our activities and organizations have been limited because of lack of space. However, plans are under- way to remedy matters. This year the Graf- ton Road School was built and opened to elementary students. Later this year, the contractors will start a new elementary build- ing on Gravel Pit Road near the Sleepy Hol- low development. And, there are to be addi- tions to the high school. Where the high school parking lot northeast of the school now is, there will be a new three-story wing. On the first floor will be a study hall and new library. The second is to be used primari- ly for science and contain a general science room and a biology room. The third floor will be a new home economics deprtment. The new wing will also contain new administra- tion offices. Beyond this wing and onto the present football field will be the new gym. Here we will be able to hold home basketball games and nicer dances. There will be plenty of room for other sports and for our gym classes. Yes, we have much to look forward to in Brunswick in the future. We're going to have a wonderful school so let's be proud of it and support it.
