O AA. Belles n Their Toes Mother, Pat Koren, hears all about EVERYTHING from her children. Standing: liyran Strong, Wayne llowman, Ernie Syn- der, Nancy Dawson, and Chet liwald. On Friday, May 9, in the high school auditorium the senior Class presented the play Belles on Their Toes. The play is a sequel to the play Cheaper By The Dozen and is a rollicking com- edy about the Gilbreth family of 12 children. r ' J Can't you imagine what would happen in a fam- ily of 12 children when their mother must go to Europe on lecture tours for six weeks. Fun f'?J really began when the whole family was quaran- tined with chicken pox along with their dear lov- able cousin Leora. The handyman de- cided to make near heer with the chil- dren's homemade root beer and then came the explosion leading to almost catastrophe. The three oldest girls solemnly promised not to have any dates with boys and the boys in the family saw to it that they kept their pledge. The ending, after Mothers arrival. found everyone well and happy-for a change!-and the conclusion was that cessful play under the direction of Mrs. Goodwin and Miss Wood. The wonderful handyman, .lim Voughlin. ex- plains ahout his near hecr to Mr. Hathaway.
