How could we forget? A Night to Remember by staff As the girls were taking small short steps, the guys took long strides beside them. The girls complained of tight shoes and the boys straightened crooked bou¬ tonnieres. In the ladies’ room there was a mixture of laughter and the clicking sounds of high heeled shoes on the floor. Perfume and hairspray filled the air and conversation varied. The year of the men — a Prom King was crowned for the first time. Although a new role the students had no trouble get¬ ting used to the idea.
