F.F.A. CLUB The F. F. A. stands for the Future Farmers of America. This is a national organization of farm boys who are expected to become farmers. The primary aim of the Future Farmers of America is the development of agricultural leadership, cooperation, and citizenship. The motto, Learn- ing to Do-Doing to Learn-Earning to Live- Living to Serve, is filled with practical phil- osophy, reflecting a spirit and sincerity that shows the true viewpoint of farm youth. The F. F. A. is one of the most outstanding national pupil organizations in America. All throughout the year, the F. F. A. has such contests as dairy judging, farm mechanics, crop judging and forestry. In February, a Father and Son Banquet is given for our fathers. it . . tk . -AFW. F.H.A. CLUB The Future Homemakers of America is the national or- ganization of pupils studying homemaking in junior and senior high schools of the United States and Territories. It was formed to keep the girls interested in homemaking and to develop fundamental home ' making qualities. Elllll lllwill Mr. T. R. Witten DID. CLUB To become a member of the D. O. Club a person must have 8 units and be 16 years old unless a job is classified as hazardous. Then he or she must be at least l8 years old. Furthermore the pupil must ex- press a desire to gain working experience and must submit written permission from the parents. After an interview with the student, the co-ordinate decides whether or not the pupil is ready and fitted for the opportunity of going into a place of business. The purpose of the D. O. Club is to give the boys and girls some first hand experience in business and industry while they are in high school. The D, O.
