The pur- pose of the Hi-Y is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Chris- tian character. The Hi-Y sponsors Christ- mas baskets to the needy and has an an- nual banquet. It was formed to keep the girls interested in homemaking and to develop fundamental home ' making qualities.
