To the Students of Brunswick Academy: For your contribution in making this 1967-68 school year an outstanding one, I extend to you my heartfelt thanks. May your recollections of the accomplishments made to the academy and within the student body this year bring fond memories to you in years to come. Football equipment was purchased and students were allowed to participate in football for the first time in the history of the school. Through the efforts of a group of athletically-inclined patrons, the athletic field was graded and seeded, and a field house was constructed on the premises. You have displayed qualities of loyalty, initiative, honesty, integrity and cooperation. These intangible qualities have contributed to the development of a better school spirit and more pride in our school. Emphasis is constantly placed on developing courses of study in our curriculum so that you may receive the best possible education. The faculty at Brunswick Academy is truly dedicated to helping you, the student. You will, when summarizing the twelve formative years of your life, appreciate the wisdom and understanding of the staff at the academy, who have engineered the construction of a foundation for your future. 1 assure you that this has been a most pleasant year for me. My association with members of the faculty and the student body has been most gratifying. I feel that we have had a successful year together, and that in years to come we can recall the year 1967-68 with pride. I express my deep appreciation to Mrs. Raiford, Mr. Blick, and the annual staff, who have spent countless hours in the preparation of this yearbook — a symbol of devotion and dedication. Congratulations to the class of 1968, and best wishes to the students who will return next fall. I wish for each of you the very best that life has to offer. C. M. SAUNDERS, JR. ADMINISTRATOR 5
