FIRST STGP GSLQ i Fresh and clean. Trams clanging merrily. Everywhere a strange language. Stone cas- tles and ancient cottages with grass roofs overgrown with flowers. These were some of the sights and sounds of Oslo, our first foreign port. In what may well be the world's cleanest harbor, we found a warm welcome as smiling Norsemen showed us their city and such treasures as the Vigeland Sculp- tures, the polar ship Fram, the Kon-Tiki raft and the splendid Town Hall. Many of us took the opportunity to visit the Folk Museum, a rambling collection of Norwegian dwellings and folklore dating back to the lusty days of the Vikings. No matter what the object of your sightseeing, Osloloffered interest, color, and history.
