Desire and Drive Influence Summer Work For many students, summer brings not only a time to play, but a time to work. The summer work done by BHS students can be iust as varied and unusual as the activities they indulge in. The student's expression of work may bring him out into the summer sun while working on the farm, mowing the grass, or even hanging up clothes. Another student finds his expression of work in shelving stock in a store while others combine work with travel. , is ri Yfriormr N915 fi, . ne. . ,K - i i l LEFT FFA boys, Bill Simmons and Carroll Jacobs slave at the ag barns. The Changing of Summer to Fall Brings Many Moods As revolving and varied the summer activities and work of BHS students are, so are the emotions felt as a new school year approaches. One boy may feel anguish as he realizes that he must cut his long, summer growth of hair to conform with school policies. Another may feel sadness as thoughts of leaving the lake that brought him summer fun run through his mind. Many may feel reluctance and anticipation at the drowsy thought of getting up early or going back to the hard pace and the headaches of homework. Whether the emotion telt is sadness or enthusiasm, spiced with reluctance, it, as always, is continuously individualistic. ik r1'1 ' -ffgswzr A .
