Desire and Drive Influence Summer Work For many students, summer brings not only a time to play, but a time to work. The summer work done by BHS students can be iust as varied and unusual as the activities they indulge in. The student's expression of work may bring him out into the summer sun while working on the farm, mowing the grass, or even hanging up clothes. Summer lnvolvement Develops the Individual SN-me ABOVE To beat the heat, Pat Aduddell takes a cooling dip. LEFT Rosemarie Ornelas enioys the quietness of Coggin Park. People, everywhere, of all ages, shapes, and colors are different. Each and every person has his own personality and special uniqueness. This is true ofthe BHS student. Whatever his endeavors are, he is constantly striving for the person within the person. Even while school is out of session, this struggle is a continuous movement, from the exhausted student who attempts to repack his suitcase after a summer workshop to the student who eagerly prepares and anticipates studying abroad. Just as these two students' travels take them in different directions, two other students are also traveling in different directions. While one prefers the fast pace of a vigorous swim, another is perfectly content to sit in the sun.
