Believed to be the only Biology class of its kind in the area and only in its second year of existence this course in advanced biology has proven to be very successful. Only seniors of high academic standing are given consideration for this course. Nature field trips; in order to visualize as well as read about flora and fauna of our immediate locale are taken. Visits to College biological science classes are conducted. Hospitals are visited where consultants lecture to the class. Professional consultants visit the classroom and a well rounded program is adhered to. Approx- imately three-fourths of the students go on to college, whereas others enter nurses training, etc. All in all it is felt that a good foundation is afforded seniors with a good look into a potential career in the Biological Sciences.
