Onward we will cheer her ever, Fight her battles through, Loyal we will be forever, To the White and Blue. 'Jviecuwict It was three years ago that we got aboard this ship of higher education. Very often these have been joyous years, while at other times, they may have been years of trial and tribulation. We entered the senior high as the lowest order of human species, the sophomore. Although these years have passed very rapidly, we will never forget our first Brownie Dance, our first algebra exam, or the other activities in which we were partaking, and above all, our Bacca- laureate and Commencement Nights. These memories will take up a place in our minds which will not be relinquished in future years. Remember every football, basketball, baseball, and track contests and the anxiety, anger, and happiness that went with them; the good times had at the dances after the games. Remember every pep rally where your face literally turned blue from your intense yelling; or the times you were caught trying to get an answer from a neigh- bor in English class. Now as we go out into this world of bigger business, we will find that our participation in these classes, sports, and activities have truly paid off. We will have a background full of valuable experiences in which to guide us in any field that we undertake. This brief post will act as a lesson to find happiness in a fruitful future. As this vessel of knowledge departs, we will take these lessons with us and can only hope that our successors, the underclassmen, will carry out the traditions and customs of Brownsville Senior High as we have attempted to do.
