cvfnd Then' Szster Orgamzatzon A worthwhile state organization of high school girls is the Tri Hi Y, whose purpose is creating, mam taining, and extending throughout the school and community high standards of Christian character At the present time the local chapter, with a membership of forty two sponsored by Miss Margaret In order to raise money for the state and national work carried on by the Tri Hi Y sweater hops have been held at various intervals during the year The club has also had the opportunity ro lend a helpmg hand to some of the senior civic clubs in Brownsville by taking part in several tag days Club officers are President, Lois Long Vice President Mildred Weston, Secretary Dora Lamb Treasurer Gladys Bleiler, Reporter, Mary Keck W7 O . . . 1 . . . . . . . ,, . .
