Sunbeams 'l he Sunbeam organization is composed ol' the girls from the sixth, seventh. and eighth grades. Some of the aims ol' this group are to develop a friendly feeling among the girls. to furf nish good clean fun. and to develop leadership. 'lihis club works under the direction ol' the state ofhcers of the Sunshine organization which functions in the high schools. liach year the Sunheams contribute to the Riley Hospital lfund and also carry out other projects, 'l'his year they bought two sills flags on standards and presented one to the seventh grade room and one to the eighth grade room, 'lihe organization has 36 members this year and is sponsored by Klrs. Cfarr. 'lhe high school chorus was organized at the beginning ol' the school year with approxiv mately 50 members. 30 girls and Z0 boys, This group made its nrst appearance on December 20, when they participated in a Hi-Y program.
