Gfrclzbislzop Qyafslz Words are superfluous in expressing our admiration for our esteemed archbishop. To add glory to the name would be like adding light to the sun. Archbishop Walsh needs no testi- monials to illumine his virtues. As we seek his monuments We have but to look around the archdiocese committed to his zeal- ous care. Every church spire is a symbol of our archbishop's administrative genius. Every parochial school sings of his love of intellectual improvement. In toto, Archbishop Walsh is the pcrsoniflcation of the spirit of militant Catholicism. Q . O . Che Gazfbedraf Under the skillful hand of Archbishop Walsh the Arch dioceses of Newark has flourished. Churches have sprung up. An unparalleled Catholic school system has been established. Now, as a sort of culmination point to the administrative pro- gress the Archbishop wishes a Cathedral to be built in the heart of the diocese of Newark. This cathedral is not to enhance the reputation of our venerable Archbishop, but to further the cause of the Lord. We should all get behind Arch- bishop Walsh in this, his greatest of building attempts.
