Homecoming and Dedication Here comes the parade. which started at the school and marched up Main. Bet that's the most people that there has ever been on the street at one time .... Leading the parade was the Band. My. arenit those majorettes pretty? . . . Here come the floats. and thereis the first and second prize winners. . . . Did everyone notice the oo's and ah's as the pretty candidates for queen went by '? . . . Last came the mighty football team and the cheerleaders on the fire truck. They have sure been doing a swell job .... The band marched at the half. and did everyone notice the hats on backwards? This means weire ahead . . . Natcli .... Then came the crowning of the Queen. How proud the juniors were of Dorothy Ketchum. Even though. in all the confu- sion. a crown had been forgotten. everyone was happy. especially Dorothy. when the Captain. Bob Benge. gave her a kiss .... One of the highlights of our Homecoming was the dedication of the new field. A speech was given by Mr. L. V. Phillips. Athletic Commissioner .... Our trustee. Nlr. Roth- enberger. also spoke .... Last. but not least. was Wim I BURG. PLAN C K Q 'Nlmsi Um Ha, the dance after the game. It was held in the gym. which was decorated in many beautiful streamers. How surprised everyone was at the red lights. . . . Have you ever seen so many people in the gym before? . . . The band we had play for us was really nice. too .... From the parade. to the game. to the dance. everything was just wonderful. and something we'll remember always in the years to come.
