Pretty good start for the Bulldogs. 3 Betty finds out the whispers are about her surprise Birthday party. 6 We all went to the Fair for Education Day. Is Tommy Winters educational? 7 Rockettes are improving. What a 6'Toast of Our Town we'll have. 9 Government class says 65 mph speed limit is social change people canit accept. 12 Classes are so hot. Alaska. here we come. 13 Elected Homecoming candidates. They are Barb. Dot. Sandy, and Nancy. 15 Karen, Judy, Sandy, and Nancy are Fresh- man yell leaders. Did Chick and Dimp collect their debt? 27 Rings all over the place. Juniors are glad they finally got them. 28 First edition of DOGHOUSE out-whew! We can breathe now. 30 Beat Decatur Central . . . Yea! October 3 What are all of these broken legs from? B.H.S. must be dangerous. 4 Glamour pusses after the rain . . . oh the hair. 5 Yummy. Band practices for marching contest at Southport . . . might add against will. Oh that newspaper from Naptown, some people, as if we aren't the best. Seems balloons aren't just for kids any- more, especially on Georgetown Road. White shirts and lipstick. Yep, we7re un- defeated. Now girls . . . bermudas. Nobody wears them to school, not even DHS. Watch those calls B B's, some people don't like the finer things in life. Halloween Festival. Carl Wood and Jean Ann Smith are queen and king. We are very proud of our Good Citizen, Barbara Martin. County citizen, too. Thanks Judy and Dona for a cute DOG- HOUSE cover. Very good. Better be good band-new demerit system is in effect. Judy Ann and Peg think their natural voice is better than singing. Hal Speech class has quite a club. How is uShrimp and Blimpw? How is Danville going to like Einey Meiney? Ordered our caps and gowns. Girls wear white. Boys wear royal blue. How is Brutus, Dorothy Carter? Beat Danville, and guess what, they didnst like Einey Meiney. Seems we all enjoyed the Soc Hop, even if we didn't dance in our socks. Individual pictures back . . . what a shock. Bob and Mary Ann are quite the scene before first period . . . ah, true love. Everyone still talking about the success of the Junior Play, and how funny Bob Bell was, and how funny Dean Fields looked when he took that fall. Another Soc Hop. Linda was surprised for her birthday. Oh that red face. Sparkplugs forgot to let us catch them by the toe. Now John Leveritt, how did you really catch that turkey. Linda will tell. Thanksgiving vacation starts. Indianapolis, here we come. Hooray for our neat sign in the Gym that says BUI..LDOGS.,, l Another senior bit the dust, seriously, De- lores, that is a lovely diamond. Football boys finally got their jackets. My how handsome they look.
