Besides performing their daily occupations of farming, housekeeping, mechanic, trucking, and general auto shop; these com- munity minded citizens also serve to maintain the education facility, programs and policies of the Browns Valley Schools. Some of the major items they dealt with this year were: 1. New members Jeff Backer, Jerry Flute, Dave Vosberg, Taking over the positions of Jerry Zacharias, Jim Jung, and Don Johnson. 2. Teacher negotiations 3. Non-certified personnel negotiations 4. Attempted pairing with Beardsley 5. Roof Renovation 6. Open House observation of American Education Week 7. Volleyball standards 8. Teacher evaluations 9. Administration evaluations 10. All of the regular financial, maintenance, staffing and other areas involved in keeping the facility operating. 5
