Coronation had a nice start both with the weather and the gym. Dave McKee was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Enter- tainment was great with all the classes except the booming Sophomore class. A fine job was done by Paul Kaus, Lois Kleindl. and Jason Haugland for the procession. Coach Keith Hag- gerty later crowned Sue Jung as Queen and Terry Miller as King. A snake dance followed with a little pep fest. A fun time was had by all. The T-Birds homecoming day started with a great parade and pep fest. As the day grew old, excitement grew high. Valley fell behind with a quick touchdown, but it didn’t seem to bother their emotions as the boys fought back to take a 24—7 half-time lead. Coaches Haggerty and Engberg brought the T-Birds out for more great football. The Valley starters extended their lead to a 37—13 lead enabling the reserves to play. The T-Birds had a great game with the support of our fans.
