SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Standing: Mark LeClair-V. Pres., Mr. Thom as-Advisor, Mr. McMorrow-Advisor, Kneeling: Jan Ziemer-Pres., John Miller-Secretary, Leona Reinart-Treasurer The highlight of our 9th grade year was picking our attendants for Homecoming. We chose Butch Colago and Mary Serocki to represent our class. We always managed to have our milk and cookie parties near the church. We were known as the most religious class B. V. had ever known. They don't know it, but we still are. We chose Don Deyo for President, Jeff Mollenhoff, for Vice-President, Jan Ziemer for Secretary-Treasurer, and Butch Colago for Student Council. Our float won 1st place this year. During the 10th grade we were led by President-Kim Ingemunson Hansen, Vice-President- John Miller, Secretary- Kris Baer, and Treasurer- Jo Hoffman. Our attendants were John Miller and Kris Baer. Terry LeClair and Mary Serocki were chosen Host and Hostess for the Jr.-Sr. Prom. Everyone remembers, oh so well, Mr. Bailey, his monkey, parrot, and disecting. Our float got 1st place once again. At last, our Junior year, boy were we happy! We managed to put on our Junior class play which was Spoon River Anthology directed by Mrs. Zacharias. Then came our Prom. Our theme was Saturday in the Park. We chose Tam Haanen and Jeff Paulson as Host and Hostess. The band was Cookies. We were lead through that year of hard work by President Don Deyo, Vice President Terry LeClair, Secre- tary-Treasurer Craig Griebal, and our Student Council members were Mary Serocki and Greg Haanen. Our Homecoming attendants were Jan Ziemer and Terry LeClair. Our Class float won another first place. Onward James to a new year. Now as we are in our Senior year we are lead by President Jan Ziemer, Vice President Mark LeClair, Secretary John Miller, Treasurer Leona Rienart, and our Student Council representatives are Ann Christensen and Mary Serocki. Our Homecoming candidates for king were Corey Grubb, John Miller, and Don Deyo. The candidates for queen were Jo Ziemer, Jan Ziemer, and Kris Baer. John and Jo were chosen to reign over the festivities. Our class flower is the Carnation, our class colors are Peach and Ivory, and our motto is With Todays Knowledge, We Challenge Tomorrow. Looking back through the years we have all shared many happy and sad moments in this school of ours. But there is one thing certain, we will all benefit from the knowledge we have gained through the years here. For we the class of 1977 believe that, With Todays Knowledge, We Will Challenge Tomorrow. 17
