I, Wayne Appel, will to Don Dew, Richard Krensing, David Nigg, Dan Roark my shop abilities, which in- clude hammering nails and sawing straight boards. I, Janelle Backus, will Karen Schauff my ability to stay home even though I don't think she will. I, Dennis Kallstrom, will my tremendous basketball ability to Roy Bartz in hope that it will improve his ability. I, Lynn Bigelow, will to my brother Chet my intense interest in sports. I, Wes Duehr, will my superior ability of telling good jokes to Greg Peppersack. I, Joe Foren, will Dave Raw my skinning fish ability in hope that he will get plenty of practice. I, Terry Foster, will my library chair to David Hammersten. I, Dale Hammersten, will my fishing and hunting abilities to Dennis Sweeney and Paul Gubka. I, Wayne Heald, will Darrel Issendorf my ability to make an old car last and to make it to Sisseton every week-end, I, Arlene Hedrick, will Vera Quesnell my ability to refrain from alcoholic beverages on week-ends. Hope she makes good use of it. I, Greg Ingemunson, will Janice Reed the keys to my car. I, Steve Johnson, will my wrestling ability to Pat Lynch. I, Eugene Bartz, will my jumping ability to Ed Crawford; in hopes that he will put it to good use. I, Roger Krone, will to Kristi Haugland all my abilities in hopes that she can find some, if any. I, Deloris Lee, will Debbie LeClair my great ability to never stay home. She is already following my footsteps just fine. I, Don LeClair, will Dean Lehrke my ability to stand on my own two feet and come to school, difficult as it has been, considering-- I, Marva Lehrke, will Janice Anderson my secret of blondes having more fun. I, Ted Lumphrey, will my ability to have a good time and drink the uncola at least two nights a week to Jim Miller. I, I, John Metz, will Jim Kruger my overwhelming height that some day he becomes as big as me. 16

SENIOR CLASS POEM '69 Larry Douglas a good natured lad, One never sees him sad. In a green and white chevy, often rides, With Janelle Backus at his side. CUr class is very proud of its Cheerleaders two Lynn Bigelow and Diane Peterson, our hats off to you. When it comes to putting art to the test, Everyone knows Mike Roark is best. A guy may be dull or a real thriller, Two of the latter are Ted Lumphrey and Pat Miller. Dale Hammarsten is a witty guy, You can hardly say that he is shy. Sandy is full of glee, And no work and lots of fun she likes to see. On Patty Schloe you can rely, She's a friend to all, no one can deny. Sherry and Arlene are known for laughing alot, They also keep the boys on the trot. Linda and Lois are the noisy ones. In school they are always lots of fun. An excellent secretary she111 someday be. We're talking about the NLgg named Shirley. When it comes to horses, Lynette is the best, She can put any horse to its test. Steve Johnson is somewhat shy, But when on the wrestling mat, he's quite the guy. In Social class, Wes doesn't have to shout, Because he knows what he's talking about. Paul and Roger are two nice guys, With the girls, they play it wise. John and Gene are at home on the basketball floor, When we want more, they're sure to score. Nudell and Yost are a couple of nuts, They get in and out of lots of ruts. Lynn Spots and Wayne He aid hunt like pros, They know where the game is and there they go. Terry Foster likes Westerns, that is true, But girls are another one of his interests, too. With Don LeCiair, the girls play it cool, EUt then they ail go home and drool. Pelzel and Serocki are happy and no one asks why, Because each has found her special guy. When speaking about Marva and Deloris, You can say they 11 speak a good word for us. Dennis is always making the scene, He likes all sports and was Homecoming King. Floyd and Joe are lots of fun, rIhey puli a prank, then watch them run. Appl and Ingemunson are by everyone liked well, On their guitars, they play songs really swell. Even though someday we'll be far apart, We'll remember our classmates, dear to our heart. 15

I, Paul Schaunaman, will to Eleanor Nettestad all the pings, bangs, knocks and troubles of a Rambler in hope that she will talk her dad into buying a Chevy. I, Patty Schloe, will to Pat Birnbaum my ability to keep quiet most of the time. I, Kathy Serocki, will Colleen Kuschel my great ability to keep the Coliseum jumping and to keep an eye on Or ell. I, Lynn Spotts, will to Deed Domarus my ability to find a ride to Sisseton every week-end and finding his way to that little establishment outside of Sisseton. I, Sandy Ward, will to Melody and Randy my ability to have fun even when there is work to be done. I, Lois Weeks, will my great ability to get along with teachers so well to Diane Schwagel, and Helen Sykora.
