24 SECOND GRADE Mrs. Waynar ' s second grade class was ecology minded, completing science ori- ented projects. They purchased shrimp eggs and watched most patiently — for eight year olds — to see what would hatch. They also devoted much attention to ob- serving the spinning of a cocoon. Planning and presenting a puppet show next occupied these erstwhile scientists. Perhaps the show told how a young mother went in search of a baby shrimp to deliver a message . . . BOTTOM ROW.
