JUNIORS A project of two years was completed this February, when the Junior Class saw the installa- tion of cigarette machines in Andrews. The profits will go to a scholarship fund. Other class activities were the Freshman-Junior Banquet and the J unior Prom. SENIORS Lois Stelley, vice-president, secretary, Bev Calderwood, president, Pat Mac- Bridc, treasurer. To its annual projects, tsupporting a War Orphan and managing the Corner Catch-alD, the Senior Class has added, this year, the tasks of selling Pembroke Blazers, working on J ob Oppor- tunity Week, and holding a class picnic in the spring.

FRESHMEN Last fall, the F reshmen got off to an ambitious start with their first class project-that of making stuffed animals as Christmas presents for orphan children. The class also adopted a War Orphan, wrote a class song, and started a spring clean-up campaign at the Outing Cabin. In the future, they hope to promote camp craft activities at the Cabin. A primary interest of the Sophomore Class is the promotion of group singing at Pembroke. With this in mind, they sponsored a step-sing,i before Homecoming, mimeographed a sheet of college songs, and are considering the publication of a Pembroke Songbook. This year they have pub- lished the Archives of 955,9 and the Freshman Handbook. SOPHOMORES Betsy Turner, vicc-president, secretary, Pat Crablrcc, president, Ann Barr, treasurer.
