M, 'Pies ,PY ' 4' iv, ' Aa. 7 .lf 'Q -5 LEE HILL ' Did you ever know a girl to take whatever came - disappointments. or joys with a quiet dignity? You have to look deep into Lee Hillis lovely eyes to he able to guess how she really feels. She has a wholesome philosophy quite unusual in one so young. Lee lows dra- matics and she can go from reader in the beautiful Christmas Pageant to side-splitting comedy as a middle-aged Englishman in the senior play with equal ahility. She wants to go to John Brown University-and then make religions movies-but we think she'd better come back to 'UBSCH and take over when Mrs. Erwin retires. With her kindness and understanding she would make a worthy successor. Lee got ready for such a position in her duties as Student Body Vice President.

GRACE THORSON Grace Thorson just cut through the empty lot, so to speak, when she left the Pasadena City Schools to see if she liked BSC better. Well, I guess she did for she has settled down like a mother hen making a place for herself and taking under her wing girls who needed a friend to help them when they were homesick or to share the happy experience of being a Christian. Grace has clever hands and paints china, knits, and works miracles with her needle. She can also put stitches in our sides when she assumes the roll of a comedienne in some dramatic skit and some of us who have seen the first rehearsals of the Senior Play- predict she will walk away with the show. She was President of the Junior Class, President of the Senior Class, President of the Ice Skaters' Club, President of the Bible Club, and Secretary of the Delta Sigma and Art Editor of the Annual. If C-race's dreams are fulfilled and she goes to the mission field she will take with her many talents and a great devotion to a high calling.
