In the first period Cecil Trainer terminated a drive from the Brown thirteen yard line and scored on a I6 yard end-around. The second score was made on a pitch out to Charlie Brannon, while Roosevelt waited for a full-hack plunge. Late in the third quarter johnny Hunsinger scored on a ' yard plunge. The last score came in the fourth yuarter with Gene Kinaird slashing for 52 yards through a shaky Tide defense. Roosevelt had been outwitted and worn down. Browns line was ti large reason for the victory. The Rehels defense was sparlxd by lid Carithers, Donald Pope, and Ran. dolph Ragsdale, who helped to hold the Tide at lmy.
